Loom work

Recieving this loom has been such a gift, even though I had to move the dinning room table out side. Spending lots of time at the library looking at weaving books, is such a pleasure. It took me several days to research how looms work and fixing the cords and treadles.

Then even though I was totally confused about warping, I went for it and after a few days we were ready to play. My kids are my teachers, Annabel is a natural weaver, the only one that could get an even looking weave. It's been so much fun. We are using this sample weave as the family weave.

My new/vintage loom

I just got my new/ 1972 Lillstina by Jarvso 4 harness loom. Im dusting, touching, balancing and loving it. Taking the place of our dinning room table. Cant wait to get threads on it. Being patient!!! Any body want to come over and help a beginner?
