This is the first video of a series of 6 called "The Mill" Its a bit dated, but I so enjoyed seeing how the mill industry started back in the 1700's. It also has wonderful imagery of old spinning and weaving machines powered by water. It brought me more awareness of how we as a culture take for granted where our clothes come from and how the integrity is lost with so much of the clothing that is offered out there in the world. I think this video series is great for kids too, sharing with them what actually goes into making fiber and cloth. Half of the video is made with animation.
